Driving Directions
Please note: There is extensive construction taking place on I-35 through Waco, so it is not possible to know which exits will be open at any given time. TXDOT is providing good guidance on detours, so your best bet is to use your smartphone to get to the Waco Convention Center, and follow the detours that TXDOT sets up.
From Dallas
Traveling south on I-35, take Exit 335B, University Parks Drive. Turn RIGHT onto University Parks Drive. Follow it until you arrive at Washington Avenue. Turn LEFT on Washington Avenue. The Convention Center will be on your left, with the main doors facing Washington Avenue. It is across the street from the Courtyard by Marriott on one side, the Suspension Bridge and Indian Spring Park on another side, and connected by a covered walkway to the Hilton Waco.
From Austin
Traveling north on I-35, take Exit 335B, University Parks Drive. Turn LEFT onto University Parks Drive. Follow it until you arrive at Washington Avenue. Turn LEFT on Washington Avenue. The Convention Center will be on your left, with the main doors facing Washington Avenue. It is across the street from the Courtyard by Marriott on one side, the Suspension Bridge and Indian Spring Park on another side, and connected by a covered walkway to the Hilton Waco.
From Houston
Traveling north on Highway 6, take the Orchard Lane exit. Turn LEFT onto Orchard Lane. Follow Orchard Lane until you reach Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn RIGHT. This will be near McLane Stadium, Baylor’s football stadium. Follow Martin Luther King Blvd. until you arrive at Washington Avenue. Turn LEFT on Washington Avenue and cross over the bridge at the Brazos River. The Convention Center will be on your left, at the corner of Washington Avenue and University Parks Drive. The main doors face Washington Avenue.
Parking
There are many FREE VISITOR PARKING options in Downtown Waco!
Convention attendees are asked to park in Heritage Square, a city block of surface parking located at 3rd and Austin, and bounded by 4th St. and Washington Ave. Trailers and buses should be parked on this lot as well. Trailers, buses, and vehicles taking more than one parking spot are not allowed in the parking lot facing Franklin Avenue.
Please do not park in the Hilton parking lot unless you are a guest there.
There is also FREE VISITOR PARKING in the parking lot facing Franklin Avenue, between University Parks Drive and 3rd Street.
The City of Waco provides a FREE VISITOR PARKING GARAGE attached to the Dr. Mae Jackson Development Center. Enter the garage from 4th street. Look for the bright green pillar showing where to enter the garage. The entrance is located within the parking lot itself, off 4th street between Austin Ave. and Franklin Ave.
Motorcoach and school bus parking is available at Heritage Square, located on the block bound by Washington Ave., Austin Ave. and between 3rd and 4th Streets.

Public Transportation
Follow the signs to FREE parking and ride the DOWNTOWN TROLLEY for FREE! The trolley’s route makes it easy to get to Waco’s most popular shopping, dining and art venues in the downtown area.
This is a FLAG-STOP route, meaning you can catch the bus at any safe location along the route by waving your arm and making eye contact with the driver.
